Bethlehem Central High School students are now eligible for the Albany County Defensive Driving Course Reimbursement Program. As a participant of this program, BC students can apply to be reimbursed for completing a New York State Department of Motor Vehicles-certified defensive driving course.

Students may file for reimbursement by submitting proof of completion to the Office of the County Executive by email at county_executive@albanycountyny.gov. 

The Albany County Defensive Driving Course Reimbursement Program was established this year by County Executive Dan McCoy. It is funded through proceeds collected from stop-arm cameras on school buses. The cameras ticket individuals who are seen passing a stopped school bus that is picking up or dropping off students.
