Beginning March 6, Albany County will begin work on the first phase of the Albany County Rail Trail Bridge Replacement Project over New Scotland Road (SR 85) in Slingerlands.
The work is expected to take place between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. If traveling in that area, there could be minor delays. The first phase of the project is expected to last approximately three weeks. The entire bridge replacement will be completed in several phases and will take several months to complete.
The BC Transportation Department has determined there will be occasional 5-10 minutes delays on the following routes:
- Slingerlands Route 141
- Slingerlands Route 142
- High School Route 141 (PM only)
- Out-of-District Route 162 (AM only)
- SN Route 222 (PM Only)
