Poetry Out Loud competitors honored by Board of Ed

On Wednesday, Feb. 5, two high school students who competed in the NYS regional Poetry Out Loud competition were honored by the BC Board of Education.

Juniors Laurel Muench and Keiran McNay represented BCHS at the state semifinals where they competed against 12 other students from local schools. While the BC students made it to the third and final round of competition neither qualified to move on to the NYS competition.
