National Night Out “What Safety Means to Me” Poster Contest

The Bethlehem Police Department will host National Night Out on Tuesday, Aug. 6 at Elm Avenue Park in Delmar. All families in the Bethlehem Central School District are invited to join in the festivities celebrating safe neighborhoods. There will be live music, vehicle and equipment displays, a bounce house, raffles and more.

This year, there is a poster contest for students entering grades 1-5 in the fall. To enter, stop by the Bethlehem Police Department to pick up a poster and return it by Monday, July 29. Judging will take place at the Bethlehem Public Library from August 1-3. This year’s poster prompt is “What to do in an emergency?” 

There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Winners will receive a Summer Activity Bundle. The first-place entry will be displayed at the Police Department and will be announced at a Town Board Meeting.
