May 18: Eagle Challenge part of fun community weekend

On Saturday, May 18, the BC Wellness Committee invites families to the high school for a morning of fun activities for students and community members. The activities are part of the spring Eagle Challenge.

Activities at the high school on May 18 will include:

  • 9a-11a: Kids’ Obstacle Course on Turf Field (ages K-5)
  • 9a-1p: “Choose Your Challenge” Community Walk/Run on BCHS Track (All ages)
  • 10a-12p: Touch-a-Truck Large Vehicle Display (All ages) 
  • 11a: Modified Baseball vs. Guilderland  (All ages) 
  • 10a-1p: Visit the Delmar Farmers Market (All ages)

May 18 is also the 2024 Bethlehem Walk-n-Roll Fest. The annual event takes place at 250 Delaware Avenue (in the rear lot). This is where you can make sure your bike and helmet are ready for summer riding with a bike check and helmet fitting. There will be a bike riding skills station and attendees can learn about bicycle, pedestrian, crosswalk and traffic safety at one of the informational tables.
