Bethlehem Central High School will hold its annual orientation program for ninth-grade students Wednesday, September 4 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the high school. Transportation is provided if needed.
Upon arrival at the high school, students will be directed to the auditorium.
Students will meet the principal, assistant principals, school counselors, tour the building with upperclassmen and be introduced to some clubs and activities available at the high school.
Students will also receive their Chromebook, student ID and Yondr pouch.
There is no supply list for Grade 9: teachers will inform students of any necessary supplies on the first day of classes.
Bus transportation to the Sept. 4 orientation is available for students who are eligible for bus transportation.
Please refer to the transportation information posted to Aspen for your designated bus stop. For the orientation program, students will need to be at their bus stop 3 hours and 30 minutes later than the regularly scheduled time for pick up. Students should show up at least 10 minutes early at the stop to make sure they arrive before the bus.
Students being transported to the high school for the orientation program by means other than district transportation should be dropped off at the Main Entrance.
All students will be dismissed at 2 p.m. Those who rode a bus to the orientation program will return home on district transportation; students who walked or arrived via other means of transportation to the program will be dismissed at the same time.
Students who would like to walk their schedule at the high school are allowed to do so prior to the start of orientation. Students should print their schedules at home (any student who does not have access to a printer may stop into the main office and we will print them a copy).
