The CD YMCA hosted their 24th Annual Awards breakfast ceremony highlighting “Outstanding Students and Educators” at the Appel Inn in Altamont. Eight Bethlehem students and five Bethlehem educators were honored at the breakfast in April. Friends and families joined students and school administrators joined educators being honored. Slingerlands K-2 students recently enjoyed a visit from local author/illustrator Matt McElligott. The students decorated the library with their own monster designs to welcome the author and share their creative imaginations. Six Bethlehem Central High School student artists were selected to have their work included at the 24th Annual High School Regional Juried Art Exhibition at the Albany Center Gallery. The jurors for this exhibition included Belinda Colón, Tony Iadicicco and Kim Tateo. This year, 28 school districts submitted 573 works. Only 113 pieces were chosen, …
