The 89th Commencement Exercises for Bethlehem Central High School will be held on Friday, June 23 at 6:30 p.m. at the MVP Arena in downtown Albany. The ceremony will be livestreamed.

On June 16, members of ALANA (African, Latinx, Asian, Native American & Allies) at BCHS took part in ALANA’s fourth annual Sankofa, a celebratory rite of passage that takes place prior to graduation.
There will be no in-district free meal program this summer now that COVID waivers from the federal government have expired. The school meal program waivers from the USDA allowed BCSD to provide an onsite summer meals program during the height of the pandemic. The Bethlehem Central School District Transportation Department has named Debbie Kawczak as its 2023 Employee of the Year. The award was announced during the department’s annual end-of-year luncheon. Kawczak has served BC as a professional school bus driver for over two decades and will retire at the end of the school year. As a member …

BCHS student Jackson St Cyr beat the odds in this year’s Stock Market Game. The graduating senior placed 9th in New York State, out of 2,867 competing teams statewide.
Fifty-one graduating seniors have earned the NYS Seal of Biliteracy for proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in one or more languages, in addition to English.
Asian Food Festival at BCHS was a great success. Special thanks to all who contributed.
