Board honors #1 girls cross country team

At its meeting on Jan. 8, the Bethlehem Central Board of Education honored the New York State champion girls cross country team and its tremendously successful 2024-25 fall season. 

The team had a perfect 12-0 dual meet record, was undefeated in invitation competition and won several championship meets including Albany County, Suburban Council, Section 2 Class A,  and the NYS Federation Championship. As a result the team was ranked #1 in New York State and in the nation.

The team earned its third consecutive invitation to the prestigious Nike Cross National Championship Meet in Portland, OR where the team finished fifth in the nation.
