Congratulations to BCHS art teacher Corey Fong, whose artwork was selected as part of a special summer art installation celebrating the 30th anniversary of Woodstock ’94 in Saugerties, New York.

Mr. Fong was among three dozen artists who were invited to decorate fiberglass models of “Hippie Buses” made popular in the 1960s and ’70s. The colorful buses were displayed on the sidewalks of Saugerties from Memorial Day until Labor Day.

All of the buses were auctioned off at an event on Saturday, September 15, with all proceeds going to charity. Mr. Fong’s airbrushed hippie bus raised $900 for an organization which supports veterans in the Hudson Valley.
