Server issues at the state level that impacted NYS English Language Arts (ELA) online testing  at BCMS on Tuesday are continuing today, Apr. 9. Tuesday’s outage only impacted the middle school. Today, both the middle school and elementary schools (grades 3-8) are impacted by the testing platform failure. Bethlehem is one of several districts statewide whose testing has been disrupted by the server outages.

BCMS (Grades 6-8)

The New York State ELA tests for middle school students (grades 6-8) are now postponed until Tuesday-Wednesday, Apr. 22 and Apr. 23.  

Elementary Schools (Grades 3-8)

Disruption at the elementary level has been sporadic, with some classes able to log onto the state’s platform while others could not. The district is awaiting guidance from the New York State Education Department regarding testing at the 3-8 level. We will share updates with elementary families as they become available.
