On Wednesday, April 2, a group of 40 seventh-grade students from Bethlehem Central Middle School took a trip to the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering (CNSE) at the University at Albany. The students, who are enrolled in the middle school’s Engineering Basics course, were able to tour the Albany Nanotech Complex and attend lectures by CNSE professors and graduate students.

The middle schoolers also participated in hands-on activities and some tried on cleanroom suits used by semiconductor manufacturing and nanotechnology workers.

Thank you to the faculty and staff at CNSE and the middle school for making the field trip a wonderful educational experience for our students!
