The BCHS Music Department extends its sincere congratulations to fifteen students who were 2024-25 New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) participants in All-State honor ensembles.

Area All-State musicians performed in November at Proctor’s Theatre in  Schenectady. The concert included the top student musicians in Zone 7, which includes nine counties: Albany, Schenectady, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Fulton, Montgomery, Washington, Warren and Hamilton.

Winter Conference All-State honorees were selected by competitive NYSSMA audition to perform in December at Rochester’s renowned Eastman Theatre. The Rochester event brings together the best student musicians from across New York State.
