On Friday, Mar. 31, Students for Peace and Survival club is hosting its annual Empty Bowls fundraiser featuring delicious soups and handmade pottery.
Empty Bowls is an event that raises awareness for those that suffer from food insecurity around the world. It is the first Empty Bowls event at BC since before Covid.
Empty Bowls will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Bethlehem Central High School in the cafeteria. Admission is $10 for all-you-can-eat soup made by BC community members. Tickets can be purchased at the door. The first 75 people to enter will also receive handmade pottery pieces by Bethlehem High school students.
Profits from the Empty Bowls event will be donated to Capital Roots and the Regional Food Bank.
Come support Students for Peace and Survival and try one of our many soups including vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options!
Make it dinner and a show by attending Empty Bowls followed by Stage 700’s Mamma Mia! Ticket information for Mamma Mia can be found here.
