While we remain vigilant about screening for COVID-19, please keep in mind that flu season is here. Updated flu information from the New YorkState Department of Health and other flu facts are always available on our website and a searchable list of locations currently offering flu shots is available from the CDC.
Albany County also offers flu vaccines by appointment. The Health Department accepts many insurance plans, including Medicaid, and offers a sliding fee scale. Additionally, if families have concerns about getting a flu vaccine for their child, they can contact their building school nurse who may be able to assist in securing funding to cover the cost of the vaccine.
