A Chance to Make Bee H-I-S-T-O-R-Y!

*Rescheduled for March 27, 2013 due to snow.

Not to "bee" outdone by a snowstorm, the First Annual Bethlehem Community Spelling Bee is back on track!

Bethlehem Opportunities Unlimited (BOU) is sponsoring a Community Spelling Bee at the Bethlehem Central Middle School Auditorium on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 from 7 to 9 pm. Teams of three to five members will compete for prizes and the honor of being recorded as Bethlehem's very first Spelling Champions.

BOU is expecting a talented line-up of Eagle, Slingerlands, and Glenmont teachers, Middle and High School teachers, students teams and community teams for the event.

Admission is $3 for students, seniors and veterans, $5 for adults and $10 per family. Refreshments will be available for sale. There will be lots of fun for the whole family!

It is not too late to sponsor a team or form a team! Registration forms  for sponsorships and team submissions are available below and on the BOU website and are now due on Wednesday, March 20, 2013. The registration fee is $100 per team. Team attire and costumes are encouraged. You must be at least 14 years old to enter.

Bring your friends, family, supporters and cheering section and join us for an evening of F-U-N, P-H-I-L-A-N-T-H-R-O-P-Y and C-O-M-M-U-N-I-T-Y!

The proceeds from this charitable event will be used to promote prevention education and safe, healthy activities for Bethlehem's youth. Contact: Angela Guccione at (518) 618-7900 or at bouthebee@hotmail.com for more information.
