Pillars of Character: Monthly Pizza Lunch
BCMS presents a new Positive Recognition Program
Here at BCMS there are many ways we recognize positive student behavior. One of these is a positive recognition program called the Pillars of Character Pizza Lunch.
At the beginning of each month, we will highlight a certain Pillar of Character (caring, respect, responsibility, fairness, trustworthiness, and citizenship) on the morning announcements. We will discuss the character trait and why people who exhibit these traits make our school, community, and country a better place.
At the end of the month, we will ask each team to nominate up to four students who have demonstrated the particular character trait for that month. We will then hold a pizza party for not only them, but for one of their friends (because who you hang out with builds character as well).
Please note: There will be no lunch in December due to the short timeframe and vacation.
