BCHS ‘Angels’ soar in Washington
Two BCHS students and members of the Challenger
Angels cheer squad, senior Jessica Klein and freshman Julia Huber,
had the opportunity to perform a routine at the President’s Council
on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition’s annual meeting recently. The
Angels, 14 special needs cheerleaders in a squad organized by
Colonie Pop Warner, headed to Washington on May 6 and performed for
the council at its annual meeting.

Memorial planned for longtime Elsmere Principal Dorothy Whitney
Elsmere Elementary School and the Bethlehem community lost a friend, teacher, mentor and beloved principal with the death of Dorothy Whitney on February 19, 2013 after a long illness.The current and retired faculty and staff of Elsmere Elementary School invite the community to join us as we honor Dorothy Whitney who faithfully served as our principal from 1984-2003.
