Bethlehem’s Masterminds team wins the Capital Region Championship

Michael Clawar, Dan LaChapelle, Kartik Ramkumar, Josh Reichler and Ian Masters competed in the Capital Regional Championship of Masterminds held at RPI.
The Capital Region consists of 26 high schools. Bethlehem won the championship only losing two games this season. The championship means BCHS’s Masterminds team will compete in the New York State Masterminds championship on Saturday, June 9.
This year 118 high schools competed in Masterminds across New York State. The champions from the four regions will compete in Syracuse for New York State Masterminds Championship. Bethlehem has won two state championships and finished second in NYS last year.
Bethlehem’s Masterminds team can be seen playing a game against Hoosick Falls High School at http://openstagemedia.org/video-demand.
The game will be broadcast on the Public Access Channel 18 on Saturday June 16 at 11 a.m. The game was filmed and produced by Proctor’s Theater and Schenectady Community College.
