Photo Gallery: Chinese educators visit BCHS
BCHS was host to another delegation from China
recently, as Chen Shuching and Cui Zhenji from the city of Changchun,
Jilin Province, took a whirlwind tour of the school with Assistant
Principal Scott Landry and other school officials.
The pair began their visit in Enriched Biology, then visited various
classes and the guidance department before getting the opportunity to
listen to the wind ensemble rehearse.
“You have given me a great gift by having me to your school,” said Zhenji, who is the principal of the High School Associated with Jilin University. “I saw many good students and educators and have learned a great deal from your school – I invite you to visit mine.”
Shuching and Zhenji were presented with BC memorabilia, after which Zhenji and BCSD Superintendent Dr. Thomas Douglas signed an agreement for BCHS and the High School Associated with Jilin University to become sister schools.
