Afternoon Cafe helps BCHS student fuel up for sports, more
BCHS students who stay after school for sports or extracurriculars can now fuel up for afternoon and evening activities without venturing out into the cold. The BCHS cafeteria now offers an AFTERNOON CAFÉ for students and staff from 2:15 p.m. to 3:15 p.m., Mondays through Fridays. The menu features hot toasted panini, hot and cold beverages, fresh baked goods, yogurt and fresh fruit. View menu>>
Making healthy menu choices easier for parents
New form helps families communicate with Food Service staff
The Bethlehem Central School District is committed to helping students and families make healthy choices. That commitment extends to our Food Service department where staff routinely help protect children with food allergies by maintaining the child’s dietary restrictions through the online sales system, to make sure they are not purchasing items that could trigger a reaction.
Additionally, the district respects parental preferences when it comes to controlling the quantity and types of items that may be purchased. To make it easier for parents to help students make healthy choices, the district can assist you in communicating with the Food Service department specific dietary requests for your child(ren) by providing a standard form for such requests.. Still effective for the 2013-14 school year, school lunch costs $3 for elementary students and $3.25 for middle and high school students. Breakfast costs $2 for all students. Adult meals cost $2 for breakfast and $3.75 + tax for lunch.
Reduced-price lunch (for those who are eligible and apply) is $0.25 per lunch. Click here for more information about the Free and Reduced Lunch Program, including eligibility guidelines and an application.
If a student forgets his/her lunch money, a charge policy is in place in all buildings, except the High School. Please contact the school for more information on lunch charge policies.
